So far we only have data for a few AA batteries, but this will expand to include more types, sizes and capacities, but have a look at the results we have so far.

Summary for AA Batteries

Below is a chart showing a comparison between all the AA batteries we have tested to date, this chart shows how the capacity of the batteries changes with each charge cycle with the best staying higher for longer and the worst reducing in capacity quite rapidly.

These give a slightly surprising result, the latest and highest capacity batteries seem to also survive the charge cycle test the best, except for the GP 1800 which also lasted extremely well. It is likely that the manufacturers have found better, more reliable ways of manufacturing these cells allowing the latest generation of batteries to out perform the older ones in all areas.
